Merry Christmas! We hope you enjoy this annual update as much as we love hearing about you! This has been a year filled with sweet memories and only minor disasters.
Here are a few highlights of 2009…
Colin Wallace (10 months) was born on February 11th. He arrived at 6:54 p.m. weighing 8 lbs. 6ozs. and measuring 20 ½ inches. Colin has been a sweet, mild-mannered baby and now that he is sleeping through the night we love him even more! He is so kissable and loves to laugh.
Mason (2) has taken an interest in riding Razor scooters. There is nothing cuter than the tiny body of a two-year-old racing around like a pro. Fortunately this hasn’t resulted in a repeat of the stitches he got on his lip earlier this year after he fell at The Children’s Museum.
Adam (5) is perhaps one of the number one consumers of Scotch tape in the country. He loves to use it to create guns, cars, and jets out of any available materials. He also started Kindergarten this year and is excelling in reading. He wants to be an “army guy” someday.
Kate (7) started ballet this year and loves to dance and sing. She is loving 2nd grade where her teacher calls her “Kate the Great.” Kate loves anything artsy, like making bracelets or cards for her friends. (Apparently I need to blog more about Kate by herself...and get some pics of her in her dance clothes! She is included in several of these links.)
Shem got his braces off in February and loves his new smile. He enjoys playing volleyball regularly and he continues to work hard to keep business coming in, despite the slump in construction. We feel so blessed that our business has survived. (Shem deserves a little more camera and typing time, too!)
Tobi had a successful repeat of the Bear Lake Brawl triathlon after a summer of training and time spent orchestrating “Summer Fun” for the kids with weeks titled All God’s Creatures, Move and Shake and Getting Wild.
This has been a year of faith and hope and we are so grateful for this season to reflect on our greatest gift, the Savior, Jesus Christ.
