Birthday Boys

So, I have this problem where I try to make up for all my short comings as a mom by planning and executing really cool birthday parties (see here, here, here, and here). That hasn't been working out so well this year. 

Colin turned three just four days after Liam was born. Fortunately for some early planning and a thoughtful neighbor we were able to pull of an intimate, but successful birthday celebration with Batman figures from ebay and a quick makeover of a gifted white frosted cake.

Mason's 5th birthday was just a tad more creative. Dad took the kids to Classic Fun Center to play while I made a light saber cake and wrapped up the Star Wars toys our new friend's recently cleared out from their sons' rooms.
