What a Guy!

Just have to give props to my awesome husband for surprising me with a little getaway this weekend. His totally awesome mom (THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!) took the three oldest on Friday night for a sleepover while Shem took me to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Being totally obsessive about the unnecessary over expenditure of funds, he was wise enough to order ahead of time (with credit card rewards points) a gift card.

We had a lovely dinner, came home for a movie, and then slept in until 9:30, minus the baby feedings. It was so nice to have some alone time to talk and plan. I don't think we've been on a date since Colin was born.
