Yorktown

Yesterday, to finish off our Patriotic week with a "bang," we reenacted the Battle of Yorktown...with water balloons.

It was the young, American colonists against the older, Mother England.

Shem and I were the redcoats and while we fought hard, the victory of the colonists was complete.

I dare say war was never so fun (except for Colin who was quite traumatized by the wet explosions). 

Our freedom will always be worth fighting for!
