Missing: Green Thumb

I have been the proud cultivator of a lovely vegetable garden for the last eight years.  I'm always pleasantly surprised with how well it does because I have a long history as a plant killer....except when it comes to plants that yield an edible reward.

2010 harvest

About three weeks ago I got the garden all tilled, the rows dug out, and then proceeded to plant a few vegetables and several packets of seeds.  I used an entire packet of carrot seeds, a packets of green beans, and two whole packets of corn.  Today as I was preparing the rows for my next wave of corn and carrots I did a little inventory of my seedlings.

Carrots: 0

Beans: 1

Corn: 2

What is going on this year?!?  Has my vegetable miracle era ended or is anyone else having similar problems?  Help!
