Sayonara Summer

I survived the summer and fared much better than I expected. Our Summer Fun ended up being a big success and will definitely be worth repeating next year with some annual updating and improvement.

Here is how our summer ended...

After starting "Lift Up Thine Eyes" Week at the Planetarium we headed to the great outdoors for our annual camping trip. The kids made constellations with glow in the dark stars, played with firewood, played in the stream, and rode scooters.

Colin just cried a lot.

The next week brought “Grow With Me” where we visited Red Butte Garden, did a colorful science experiment, marked our growth chart, made hand prints, and enjoyed the growth of our garden.

Our last week was supposed to be "Back to School" Week, but instead it turned into "Let's go to Bear Lake for a few days then celebrate Dad's birthday and not do anything remotely productive" Week. That was a good week, too.

And school begins again. Ahhhhh.
