Things That Make Me...

Things That Make Me Smile

Mason wants a sucker so he keeps repeating - "Want. Sucker. Me! Want. Sucker Me!"

Adam makes an observation at the zoo - "That snow leopard is just like Tai Lung, only without the shorts."

Kate tells me how she wants to save the best for last to kiss after family prayer. "I love you, Mom."

Colin is nursing in the middle of the night (still...sigh) and pulls away to look up at me and goo and goo.

My nephew Lincoln trying out the Power Wheels Jeep. His giggle button was connected to the gas pedal. He also looked adorable in Adam's new "motorcycle helmet" atop the motorcycle bike. I had to hold him up and push the bike. He kept saying "motocyco, more!"

Planting our garden and playing in the sprinklers for Family Night.

Things That Make Me Want to Cry (since I don't cry very much as a side effect of my meds)

Trying to find something to wear in the morning.

Kate and Adam lying about stealing jelly beans from the candy jar and getting into big trouble. The next day Adam suffering from the consequences of lying again and having to eat cayenne pepper.

Kate deciding to test the sharpness of my knives by carving out a line on the edge of the kitchen counter. (At least she didn't lie about it.)

Adam coming inside to tell me that a knife "went in my body." (He took the pocket knife on my scissors into the backyard while I was nursing Colin. He cut his left hand between the thumb and pointer finger. Fortunately nothing was severed and our pediatrician was able to fix it with a little glue.)

My sister Christina calling to tell me her best friend went into labor and lost her baby boy. You are in our prayers Annie and Eric!

cayenne pepper? did it work or is this an ongoing treatment?

will it make you smile to know what Mark and Daciana are naming their eldest baby girl? (she's not here yet. Any day now!)

Kate! So Dave and Marina's eldest are both Jeremy and ...

Mark didn't remember about yours when they picked the name. Kinda funny. I'll keep you posted about her birth.

Now we'll see if Cyndi names a girl Lily? Maybe?
