Ahh-whooo!

While the kids were off track in January our theme was Cub Scouts. Adam has been a Wolf Scout since April and I've been the Assistant Den Leader since last summer.

With his birthday coming up, I decided we would spend some time doing some scouty things.  We picked up litter and talked about recycling, made Indian vests and drums then decorated them with Indian picture art. We visited the library and learned about how to find the different types of books we wanted.   We talked about treating colds and cuts and charted healthy habits.

Adam was able to finish all of his requirements and the evening on the same day he went back to school he was awarded his Wolf Badge.
