A short time later (the next day) we traveled into the wilderness to look for Alma. He used to be one of King Noah's priests and we heard that he was now living in the wilderness, teaching people the words of Abinadi, and baptizing them in the Waters of Mormon.
The trek was long and dangerous - we had to avoid the King's guards, but finding the Waters of Mormon (Doughnut Falls) was beautiful and rewarding.

Kate and Adam climbed up to the falls with me and Mason was so proud that he was the only five-year-old that was able to walk the whole way (about 3 miles from Trail Access #2 at The Spruces).
