The Wilderness

We made our way into the wilderness along with the Bishop family and made camp at Brighton Meadows. It was a beautiful place to establish our new Nephite city.

We enjoyed canoeing on the small lake below our camp site.
We rode the zip line and the brave ones jumped in. I tried it too, but thankfully it wasn't caught on camera.

We even tried to catch a few fish, but to no avail.
                                                          Grandpa Steve
We even had a visit from a moose.

Before long the Lamanites started to cause trouble and we were at war. They had taken some of our people prisoner and we had taken some of theirs. We decided to try to "Free the Prisoners" (or capture the flag).

The Lamanite army hid their Nephite prisoners in their land and we hid our Lamanite prisoners in our land.  Each army also created an additional prison for any soldiers captured during the battle.

There was much sneaking, capturing, freeing, and some bruising until our Nephite team was victorious in finding our prisoners and returning them to our people.

And once again there was peace in the land.

Love it. Not the picture of me,but the rest of it. On another note, can you change the comment validation process? The numbers and words are hard to read, and I have to keep requesting a new one. Is there a simpler validation method? Thanks!!!!!
